gyno surgery help

powerhouse972

New member
i went to the plastic surgeon about my gyno and i wanted to get the entire gland taken out. But he said that he would not because it might would leave an indention. I have heard there is a chance that after sugery if there is any left there is a chance of it coming back, and i dont want an indention in my chest either. Any help????????

Exactly what help do you want? You didn't actually ask a question so I'm not sure what it is you want.

Having had gyno surgery I can confirm a few things, though. It is common practice to leave part of the gland in. Remember, this is cosmetic surgery which is supposed to make you look better, not worse. I've seen pics of bad gyno (mastectomy) surgery and believe me, you don't want caved in nipples. The only exception to this practice is when the patient has tumors, benign or malignant, that need to be removed.

Yes, gyno can recur, especially if you are prone to it (which obviously you are). If your gyno was caused by AAS then you need to be extra vigilant and make sure you have all the necessary ancillary drugs on hand.

If this is actual cosmetic surgery they will probably remove the fatty deposits around the gland as well. My surgery was not cosmetic because insurance wouldn't pay for it. Not having the fat removed was no big deal though, because without the gland the fat disappeared fairly easy.
