gyms in italy?

halfempty

New member
I am going to italy for two weeks and i have spent **hours** searching online for gyms in italy... none of the major chains that have gyms abroad have gyms in italy, and i will go nuts if there is no lifting to be had. i saw some scary comments like "couldnt find dumbells heaver than 10 kg" and so forth.

anyone from or been there? amongst other places, i will be looking for a gym in Rome, Venice, and Florence.

If you are on a budget, then it's tougher, but if you will be in one of the better hotels, then they will have a gym. Rome should be no problem -- Venice and Florence may be tougher. Try posting this on the main forum and on Chat. Have a great trip -- I wish I was going.

Depends on where your going. If your going to Rome or Milan it shouldn't be a problem. I lived in Rome in the spring of 2000. I worked out in a gym that was ok. Mind you they are about 20 years behind when it comes to real knowledge about fitness. Unfortunately when I was there I was doing mostly 12 oz curls :)
So I can't remember the name of the place, but I will find out, have tons of friends in Rome. I say shouldn't be a problem in Milan because it's the fashion capital of the world.

Damn I'm jealous. The best time I ever had. If you are going to Rome you should PM me for some more info
