are you a student? there is a hard core Golds on/near Landsdowne st ( a few Green line stops away ...15 min), but the BC gym is sick and is built to accomodate D1 athletes. probably has everything you would need

BC has one of the best gyms i have seen. I have worked out there many times. Bro just use ur student ID and ur in.Plus the pool is sweet,tons of the hottest girls in Boston are there. I would love to be in your position. My school had a top notch gym, But compared to BC gym,my school had a kiddy land gym.

I'm from Beantown and I'll tell you there are few hardcore gyms out here. The Golds that you just read about isn't that cool any more. Their not allowing chalk any more and dropping the dumbbells and shit. Plus you got fags everywhere and the fucking prices are straight out rape! The only reason I have no complaints about the gym I workout at is because I'm a personal trainer there and I have the keys and codes so when I workout, no one's there. I would stick with the campus gym bro. It's fucking insane. If I could pay a decent price for a membership there I would workout there but unfortunately it's not open to anyone but students and athletes. Have fun and don't forget to study!!

You could always try The Metropolitan on the corner of Berkley and Columbus. Is Mike's in the South End still around? I hear the steam room is awesome. Just don't take it personal if you ask for a spot on the bench and wind up getting Ray Banned.
