Gw and blood sugar

I've read conflicting reports on GWs ability to plummet blood sugar levels. Could this be the reason for up and down moodiness and lethargy even when diet is unchanged prior to use? Diet is lower in carbs but not non existent by any means. I guess I could go purchase a glucose meter just thought I would ask here first.

Once in the gym though endurance is through the roof . It's the day to day activities that I am finding difficult to get motivated for since adding it.

Either that or the increased amount of exercise and calories being utilized is creating too large of a calorie deficit

GW actually does the opposite and makes blood sugar more regulated. It also increases energy due to its ability to burn fat for energy instead of carbohydrates. See bold below...

GW–50156 regulates fat burning through a number of widespread mechanisms; it increases glucose uptake in skeletal muscle tissue and increases muscle gene expression, especially genes involved in preferential lipid utilization This shift changes the body’s metabolism to favor burning fat for energy instead of carbohydrates or muscle protein, potentially allowing clinical application for obese patients to lose fat effectively without experiencing muscle catabolism or the effects and satiety issues associated with low blood sugar. GW–501516 also increases muscle mass, which improved glucose tolerance and reduced fat mass accumulation even in mice fed a very high fat diet, suggesting that GW–501516 may have a protective effect against obesity.

In other (very simplistic) words, GW 501516 causes the body to burn fat more, rather than burning carbohydrates or proteins. This keeps blood sugar more regular and prevents the body from breaking down muscle for energy. This makes exercise more effective, increasing the ability of athletes to cut body fat, build muscle mass, and increase endurance.

^This is actually the answer to your question. I know what you are going through. By the end of my contest prep, I was completely drained, had no energy, and it took everything I had to get through a gym session

Try upping your healthy fats. This will help your body to release more fatty acids=using fat for energy instead of glucose. Monounsaturated fats such as nuts, nut butters, avocados, sunflower seeds aid in regulating blood sugar levels and help prevent spikes in blood sugar like those caused by intake of processed carbs. Carrots also help with regulating blood glucose levels. Since GW changes your lipid (fat) metabolism this should go hand-in-hand. That and since your calorie expenditure is going to go up while on GW fats are a more viable source of energy due to being 9 calories per gram instead of 4 from protein or carbs. I always notice a decrease in strength whenever I don't get enough healthy fats for the day. Perhaps this will help.

Wow thank you guys for the awesome responses. I have been dieting fairly hard these last 2 months for 2 reasons. 1 - I have 2 vacations one to Mexico in 2 days time and another to Barbados in feb

And 2 I want to see if I had what it takes to be discipline enough to get down low enough to compete in a men's fitness which I would like to attempt down the road.

I have gotten below 8% and have no doubt I can put in a valuable effort to give my best I just need to decide when to attempt my first show. I'm 26 6'0 and weight about 195 .

I'll up fats for now as I am def feeling the lack of energy especially since starting gw( unless I'm doing cardio haha then call me lance Armstrong) I should state I'm also cruising on 250 Mgs test and 300 Mgs eq ATM 12.5 Mgs Aromasin eod
