Seriously, Xanax knocks my ass out, but unless I actually GET 10 hours sleep I am groggy next morning.

Melatonin works well with no hangover, but gives me crazy-ass dreams.
 
for me melatonin makes wonders..2mg 20 minutes before going to bed and the hours I sleep, I SLEEP. Next day just feel like the nigth was one second.
 
2mg only!! Holy shit! I think I've taken 15 or 18 mg last night. It was getting too late and I had an exam in the morning.

But Melatonin just can't work on me as good as it's supposed to. I could sleep 12 hours a day without any problem. I'm talking about deep sleep under any condition lol.
 
Damn that's a big load!...well, i could go higher...but the thing is I still don't know if the body gets used to melatonin after some period of use; like caffeine. The first time you get hyper but after some time using caffeine you get used to.
 
What works for some will not work for others. Melatonin does nothing for me. Either does ambien. Ambien puts me to sleep but I am back up in a couple hours. I’ve been fighting this for a while now. Some nights are better then others.
 
Is GHB really safe to use? If so are there research companies that sell this product. I need to try something.

Take my advice... stay away from the GHB. I got caught with it and now have a class B felony. It was actually a precurser too... 1, 4 butanediol. Still got fucked.
I would go with Melatonin sublinguals. They do not make you sleep.. .but.. promote R.E.M. sleep (rapid eye movement). This is the dream state where your body recovers. You will be a little groggy in the moring but you feel a lot better. I used to only get 4 hours a night due to work and this was a life saver. There is no substitute for real good sleep though. Try to make it happen if you can...
