^^^ hate to say I told you so but this is what i diagnosed you with on page 1 (as did gatemoney who hit the nail on the head). good old Stevie knows his shit when it comes to medicine.. heck I was pre-med but like a dumbass decided to drop out and get into the financial sector.. think I would of been a damn good doctor or nutritionist. anyway this is why i said that ER doc you saw the other day is a moron and that isn't what you had. the symptoms you described are kidney stones, very easy diagnosis. if it was a hernia you would of felt atleast a pea size lump and i doubt that would of caused that much pain if it was that small (i know cause i have a stomach hernia and it doesn't bother me) and what the ER doc diagnosed you with wasn't even close to the symptoms you described.. your balls would of been red if he was accurate, he just blew you off and gave you anti-biotics and sent you away.
at 21 getting a kidney stone is abnormal and it means you have digestive issues. Basically, you need to change what you are doing with your diet. You need a good diet protocol that will get rid of the stones and until all the stones have passed or been dissolved, adopt an organic, plant-based diet rich in vegetables with little or no animal proteins. Avoid commercially prepared protein powders (these contain cross-linked protein and stress the kidney) and especially avoid ALL MSG, ASPARTAME, and ALL food additives. Soft drinks, ALCOHOL, pasteurized milk, and energy drinks are TOTALLY OFF BOUNDS.
So eat more vegetables, cultured foods (like home made keifer made from RAW milk) and get good exercise out in the sunlight. While these kidney problems exist they are weak, so avoid RAW FOOD, but don't heat the foods you eat too much or cook them too long.
And drink lots of water.
I would also not run to a doctor to give you a good diet. They have no clue about nutrition and how the body works when it comes to nutrition. I doubt the doc you saw even discussed nutrition with you, they will send people away and then they will keep coming back with more stones. They treat symptoms and prescribe drugs and surgery. I would seek out a good Certified Nutritional Therapist that can test you for specific nutritional deficiencies and recommend a good diet and possibly some nutritional supplements.
hell the drugs you were given aren't gonna do shit to prevent yourself from getting stones again.. i know people who vow to clean up their diets after kidney stones cause they don't want to go through that hell anymore and then a couple months later they are back to their old ways. you are young and time to step up to the plate and change things.
****oh yeah and as an edit when i say drink water I mean good quality water. not tap water and not aquafina or dasani which is just tap water in a bottle. get some FIji water or get an ionizer to filter the water you drink.
followup and let us know your progress. hope you feel better. kidney stones are as painful as giving birth according to what people have told me. i hope i never get them
