grip strength??

so i tried the search and the only result says im not authorized. i figured that i would just ask.. my grip strength is pretty weak ,ive been using straps for pulling weights above 135lbs, i would like to throw some grip exercizes in on my non lift days. i lift every other day using the linear 5x5 program. i do a little bag work every other off day so my plan looks like this:

lift, bag work, lift, off, and repeat for 9 weeks.....

im wondering if it would be best to do the grip work on my heavy bag days...but what movements?? or shall i do it at all??

First off, ditch the straps... I used straps for years but I stopped about a year ago. Ever since I stopped I put an inch on my forearms. If you need straps to hold 135 lbs you have a week grip. My girlfriend deadlifts 135 without straps and she only wieghs 120.

135!? Just ditch the straps and your grip strength should come up rapidly without doing anything else. Pull double overhand. Use chalk.

Yeah. If you can't close at least a #2 COC then it will not let you search grip strength. :p
I think books have already been written on this in these threads. Their are several things you can do.

No straps
Use double overhand until it fails then switch to over and under or even hook grip if you can master it
Thick bar deads
Use chalk
Static holds with as much weight as you can
Captain of Crusher grippers
Plate pinches

Tons of grip stuff. There's free "daily tips" or something. You can do a million things to train grip. John Brookfield (??) has a bunch of free tips on there.
