hey fellas, just thought id pipe up and introduce myself. I have been reading this forum for about two years and never actually joined up. Im at 6 feet 215 i would estimate my bf to be ..well alot..im trimming down (from 230) and have been working out for a few months regularly. in a previous life(my 20s) i was an avid martial artist, and runner..these days the weight is tough to lose..guess thats why there are so many of us fat fucks out there..anyway here is what my workout consists of right now..
Day 1: chest usually four sets ie; bench,incline,decline and flys..4 sets each or until i almost drop the weight on my head
Day2: biceps triceps..four exercises four sets each til i cant do anymore
day 3: back shoulders..same deal 4 exercises each 4 sets to failure
Day4: Legs usually do the machines for legs until i get my back a little stronger for squats
Day 5: Off
I also do a 2 mile run for time on each of the first three days,after my leg day i cant hardly walk..
for diet ..ireally dont know what i should be eating ..but now that my workout is on the table my goals are to lean out and get hard..building a strong muscular body is the point for us all i think. i dont necessarily have to be huge ..but even in my younger days i had limited visible results from working out regularly..currently as far as gear goes at the suggestion of a buddy of mine i am on 400 mg of eq weekly.
Should i forget the eq and continue working? what type of calorie intake should i be going for? i dont mind doing the work..but i already bought the eq..if anyone has any advice it would greatly appreciated..
