Has anyone noticed that a lot of the newer PC games have NVIDIA logos on them? What does this mean? Are pc game developers going to phase out other video cards in favor of Nvidia cards? I think this might be easier for the game developers since they'll only have to program for one type of card, but not having choices might be detrimental to end users.

All it means is Nvidia is willing to spend that much more to put their name in the games' intro.sfd files. Probably part of why their cards cost more too. I'd take an ATI card over Nvidia these days for value/cost ratio.

And gpu compatibility issues whether it's Nvidia or ATI isn't as much of an issue compared to the rest of the nearly limitless differences in hardware configs people can have. Put it this way, even if there were only 1 driver that developers had to worry about vs. 2, that still only eliminates 1 problem lol.
