It's companies like EA and Activision that could spark off another industry crash with their bullshit. If these developers were smart they'd tell 'em to fuck off.

i wonder how this will work with sites like gamefly. i've never used it and i'm only on xbox live, but surely they must be taking a hit with this code bullshit. that and it pretty much kills loaning/borrowing games from friends.

Elder Scrolls Oblivion. It wasn't madden that got me hooked, but first and last rpg. Got so hooked, got nagged out the ass at the time by the S O... sold it without completing every quest.

I can relate bro. Oblivion took up quite a bit of my time,but I got too fuckin pissed off at the level scaling (i.e. no matter how high you leveled up, monsters were always around your level). Really annoyed me because it almost defeated the purpose of the game.

Dragon age though, is much better than oblivion. Awesome story, great characters, a lot of consequence to your decision making. It had most of the good aspects of Oblivion (quests, autonomy, depth) with a lot of extras. probably the most enjoyable game i've ever played.

new one comes out in less than 3 weeks. will probably lock myself in my apt for half the month lol

they're gonna fuck it up again with the level scaling.
the whole point of an RPG is to grow to become a badass. in the beginning, get your ass whooped by certain monsters too strong. in the end, stomp all the easy ngrs but face chalenges from the elite guys.

in oblivion, you can be level 30 and a fuckin goblin will whoop your ass

bethesda has already said the leveling will be similar to fallout3 and nothing like oblivion.
