Got the denali smoked out *pics*

I'm asking if it really makes a practical difference using tint.

If on a hot summer day, the car is going to be 125F without tint, will tint make it 123F or will it make it 100F?

Really? It keeps you from squinting while you are driving. Even with sunglasses I don't want to squint while I'm driving. I want it to be like a moving room. I want it to be cool and crisp too, even on a hot summer day. :D

And what portion of the effect is from the reflector and what is from the tint?

I suspect the reflector is doing most of the work. Actually, I'm willing to bet that with a reflector, having a black window prolly isn't a great idea for incoming or reflected photons.

:)

The reflector is doing most of the work.

especially since I complied with teh man's directive and only installed "legal" tint ... limo tint wood be moar effective

window shade + limo tint wood repel the pesky photons, butt I think a technical explanation wood require delving into teh Knot Theory.

just sayin'

Installing a high performance window film can reduce your car’s interior surface temperatures by as much as 16°C (29°F)… creating a more comfortable ride, lessening the burden on the air conditioning system, and saving fuel.

those are factory 20" wheels. I'll pry go with 4's or 6's though for the summer and use the factory wheels for the winter. and i'm gonna drop it 2" in the front 3" in the back to get rid of some of that gap between the tire and the fender.
