thank god i was able to workout today. did shoulders. started with barbell military press, 135 for 3 sets of 8. then did dumbell overhead press, 60's for 3 sets of 8. then did side, front, and back raises for each deltoid. then did shoulder shrugs with 110 pound dumbells in each hand for 3 sets of 8. im happy with it, and also very happy that i got to lift.

Sounds awesome, man :)

Do you lower your militaries down to your chest, or do you stop around the nose or chin level? I ask because I've seen a boatload of bodybuilders only doing the nose-level deal literally every time I go to the gym.

I know some EFers lower the bar to their clavicles, but other than myself, I've not seen anyone do this firsthand in a looooong time.

i go about to my mouth, thats where i get the best feeling, if i go to low it hurts my shoulders.

i would lower it to my chest if i could, but it just makes a weird pain shoot through my front delt

Dang it! I'd recently found the article that said folks who have shoulder issues should shorten their ROM on presses. But I didn't bookmark it.

Good work bro!

As for the milt, I always have lowered to my upper chest. Is this wrong?

That's what I do, too. The top portion of the movement is mostly triceps anyways. Unless it hurts, then it's good to bring it to the chest IMO. :)

Good to hear things are getting back on track for you Lee!

I also bring my military down to about my mouth or chin level - anything else hurts my shoulders. I think bringing down to chest is similar to bnp. Some people can do it without injuring their rotators, and others can't.
