very nice! you look happy. :)

Well let me share this nice little story:

To save money/gas/mileage on our cars, my friend decides to buy a ticket with a tour bus company up to the GC. I'm like, whatever man, it sounds great. fast forward to thursday morning at 5:00 a.m.

we get up at five, have to be at this hotel down the road at six. we get on, a rinky dinky 15 person bus. already on? oh yeah 12 people all over the age 60. oh and 6 of them, are visiting from Canada and they all just met that morning thirty seconds before we got on. So they are all hootin-and-a-hollerin about running into each other so many miles away from their Native land.

Me and my boy? High as fuck and reek of weed.

thats how the day started. details later ...........

oh and these Canadien people would not STFU about this place called Tim Horton's at lunch time. wtf is a tim hortons? for real?

you are kidding me. why would senior citizens want to eat that for lunch?

oh and I will punch myself in the ear as hard as I can if I hear another canadien talk about their new guy "Harper" and how the Toronto newspaper sucks.

seriously, it was like listening to a John Mayer Song. I wanted to kill someone.

I worked out at the canyon for about 3 months a couple years ago. Driving up there in your own car is really the best way....you can take the train if you have the money to spare.

The bus is the worst.

I miss it out there. I really dug Flagstaff, too. I think maybe someday I'll go out there and work again.

i wasnt impressed with Sedona. reminded me of that episode of the Brady Bunch when they get trapped in the ghost town. seriously. except there were people in sedona.

lol thanks. i look pretty tired though. we did a wake and bake and were coming "down" all morning. plus none of the bars were open at the restaurants until after 1 pm. i hate going places sober lol

silly american,it is a donut shop with much better donuts btw,and the coffee fucking rocks, but they also sells soup ,sandwhiches, chilli and other stuff

Yeah, its a whole other world up there this time of year. The summer is where its at up there. Unfortunately, you have to balance the liveliness with dealing with the giant influx of tourists.

that makes more sense. i didnt think they wanted donuts at that age.

LOL! a wake & bake. Sedona is a beautiful place but its like a place you drive by, maybe stop for lunch, and keep going. If you get a chance to stop in & hang w/ the new age crystal people, you'll be glad you waked & baked.

Cool in a "frame on my desk" sort of way.

actually i didnt even pay the 9.99 for the "bag of exotic stones" from the store. I beat up a 9 yr old boy wearing a yankee hat and yelled PEDRO in the 8th my ASS! 2004 baby!" and stole them.

then i ran. fast and far.

stop at sedona. tried to buy chocolate at this ritzy chocolate store. closed til 10 a.m. with the city packed with tourists, this store has the nerve to be closed. we threw our "10% off" coupons at the window at the lady motioning that they were closed. wanted to take a picture of her through the window, she took off to the back. scared of white folks. well one white guy and an oversized mutant asian.

Did you check out any pay phones at all while you were there?

I heard that you love extended bus rides with canadians and the elderly.

yeah but i was amazed at the pay phones these days. its been so long since I've actually used one, i remember long distance being a " $1 to ANYWHERE IN THE U.S." but this thing was only fifty cents.

and it was pretty cool being on the Navajo Trading Post. WTF are they trading. its the year 2006, do people still barter for buffalo meat?

and i learned one thing about canadiens. some are cool, some suck, but overall they make no sense.
