Got Active Release on my trap/shoulder/lat today

Hurt like a mofo and it feels like there's no skin left on my shoulder or trap...but it sure did loosen me up.

Shit works wonders. I had it done a few years back on my tendonitis in my forearms. pretty much pain free. Dude was a former olympic wrestler in the 80's and actually medaled(sp?) twice. Big strong ass fucker. Dude was a chiro too, so he's always throw in a back and next crack too.

I had it on my shoulder a few years ago and it didn't do a damned thing for me. It turned out that my rotator cuff was torn and I had bone spurs that were causing even more inflammation. I don't think A.R. was intended for tears.

hate to sound like a newb but whats an active release??? new term to me lol...i have tendonitis in my knees and shoulders so if it works, i'd love to know what it is!!!

It helped the tendonitis in my elbow before...by loosening the muscle by breaking down scar tissue and adhesions, it takes some of the tension off of the tendon. Find someone qualified in your area on the official Active Release website and give it a try.
