GOP is getting slapped around this week

First you have the pedophile Foley refusing to show his face and answer his charges. Instead he hides all weekend and claims that he is an alcoholic with behavioral problems. Non-pedophile alcoholic everywhere were outraged by his comments saying it smeared their repuations.

Next you have Condi Rice getting caught in a bold face lie about whether or not Bushie and company were warned and briefed about Al Queada. Her flimsy little charade got exposed real quick-like.

Where is longhorn to help make excuses for these past two days?
 
Would the dems do better ? What would they do with taxes ? With the 2nd amendment ? GOP sucks lately, but I still wouldnt trust the dems.

i think they're doing evrything possible NOT to get elected in nov. then agani - they are stupid.

Then again, americans are stupid - and will just fall for the dumb ads, or which candidate looks cuter.

Right now they're just trying to scare people into voting for them. It's worked in the past, we'll see if anyone's wised up.
 
I don't really care who gets elected. I just hope for a split i.e. whichever party controls the House and the Senate does not hold the White House. Good way to help thwart some of the abuses of power we see. Also tends to make these assbadgers work together a little more on agendas designed to benefit EVERYONE rather than simply pushing one party agenda.
 
I heard not only they are getting slapped around, but is it by Foley's army of minors and they are all having a good time.

While Foley and some other knuckleheads have been making asses of themselves, Bush has been where he is the most effective: on the campaign stump raising big $$$$ for GOP Congressional candidates.

He has also been bashing the liberals right in the mouth, declaring the democrats to be the party of "cut and run" and proclaiming them to be "weak-kneed". It's having an effect too, based on the campaign coffers, Bush's approval rating and the reaction of pissed of liberals.

Let's see how this election turns out. If the republicans hold on to power, everyone will be saying, "Foley?, who's Foley?"
