i just finished making my first kit. i used the 4g kit from finakits.
i think i sucked up too much of the white gook while i was filtering, and the filter got clogged. i managed to get it all through, but now when i look at my finished product it is a little dark and discolored, also looks like there is even some of the gook in it. is it possible for that to pass through the filter, and if so can it hurt me?

You can blow out your filter, the gook, is nothing more than solids of the compressed pellets. I'd not worry, but if you can get another filter, just refilter it.

Can it hurt you? No, most of it won't even pass into a pin, but I'd be more inclined to refilter rather than risk.

I'd shoot it anyway, but if you want contact finakits and they will send you a filter no charge, or they did me.
