Google Chrome or Firefox?

On another forum I frequent I've noticed a number of people switching from the latter to the former, citing FF as becoming increasingly resource hungry, unstable etc. However what's the security like for Google Chrome?

Opinions for best Windows browser?

firefox is the best

chrome is good .. much better then ie

I use every major browser for work and find FF suits my needs quite well. The only time it bogs down and uses too much system resources is when there are too many addons or plugins in use.

Interestingly enough though, Opera is speedier for me than Chrome and I'd recommend using it if speed is what you're after.

Chrome at this point doesn't really seem to be more stable or use less RAM. I use it once in a while but I always go back to FF.

I use both and I prefer FF. Chrome does load faster but that is about it. FF is the bomb.

IE is the absolute worst browser out there. How the hell can you screw up a BROWSER. F'in microsoft.

I have used all mentioned, and have always gone back/stayed with FF.

Until I started using Opera, I have been using it for maybe 1-2 years with no "real" issue whatsoever. The biggest problem I ever had with it is a compatibility issue with maybe two websites, however, those sites were designed specifically for IE.

Opera is extremely versatile and customizable. I use Opera as primary and FF as my secondary.

Opera for me.

I installed and then uninstalled Chrome on another machine.

To this day I cannot get rid of the google updater, it is seriously pissing me off.

FF 3.6 so far seems like a very nice improvement over the version I was using previously. Don't know dick about security, just that it has yet to crash.
