I have learned a good deal from some of you. It's been fun for the most part.

Special thanks to: Huckelberry FINAplix, Lawnsaver, Genarr, PureExtract, Sigmund Roid, Canuck, Bouncer, Quadsweep, Macrophage69alpha, Nandi12, Ironmaster, HGH Man, Zyglamail and so many others. If I have left out your name, it's not intentional. There are a lot of good bros here and it's hard to list them all from memory.

I have decided to move on. This board has many good qualities and good people contributing but, IMHO, there is one problem that I can not reconcile. One can't really speak one's mind on this board without petty reprisals in the form of bad karma. I know that may sound a little petty in itself but hear me out. It's not the bad karma itself I object to. It's the point of the whole thing that gets me.

I used to think that the karma system was a good one. Give good and helpful advice, get good karma; give bad or dangerous advice, get bad karma. Unfortunately, it doesn't really work that way. Human nature I guess. Instead of earning karma points for good advice, karma is routinely given as a reward for saying what someone wants to hear. Simularly, bad karma is routinely used to 'punish' people for some offence (real or imagined). This has an oppressive feel to it that I really don't like. The number of karma bars by a person's name doesn't actually reflect the amount of knowledge that person has or how helpful they are. A lot of karma simply means that that person is well liked. Don't get me wrong. Being a likeable person is a good thing but when I ask a serious question about something important to my health and well-being, it would be nice to be able to gauge the knowledge of the people who answer without having to know them a long time first.

Anyway, I'm rambling. Just wanted to say thanks to all the people from whom I have learned. I hope I have been helpful to some. Anyone who wants to get in touch with me can do so by email ([email protected])

Get over it man.. Karma is given out on the other boards too ya know.. and it has nothing to do with advice... if your a chick who posts pics you are gonna get Karma.. and you don't even have to be good looking!
 
i think bad karma should only be give when absolutely calls for.

i hear you that many on this board indeed give out bad karma just because they dont like your deca dosage.

love this board though.
 
You should reconsider. Your input here has always been appreciated.
The best way to deal with the karma system is to ignore it. I've never looked at mine........have no idea what's there. As lestat points out, you can't keep up with the chick pics and sex talk folks anyway.

If you are bored and want karma once in a while then do what I do, visit a karma thread on the chat board and put the following smiley :p or heck anyone will do.

Simple, effective, oh yea and useless. ;)

No need to leave over something as stupid as karma.

Don't worry bout what others thin of your opinion as long as its that or it's backed by scientific info. which u have at your fingertips. You are indeed a good bro and should stay here regardless of what some people think. I have gotten bad karma but i have gotten a lot more good karma. For anyone who gives me bad karma o well but to the peeps who appreciate my postings when i am serious thank you!!! This is a great board and for the most part the people hear are cool as hell. See u around man hope you don't leave just cause somebody gave u some negative karma!!! ~JT~

Everyone learns on this board. it should be noted that anything anyone or I post it is based on what they have experienced and learned. If i am wrong, I appreciate being corrected and then I benefit. I try too always to post IMO or from my personal experience. If your honest why should there be any bad karma unless someone is intentionally posting potentionally dangerous advice or is an ignorant ass trying to post lke they know something in which case they are not being honest. In any case the whole karma system becomes bs when its becomes too personal. My .o2c

LOL that's the key right there. Become a karma whore. Then when people give you a hit of negative karma (like -2 pts) you can hit them back with like -8. And if you know how to super blast you can take them down like 80 points at once!
 
Whats karma? What does it have to do with the board, posting, learning and contributing? Nothing as far as I can tell. Its like having a playing card clothespined to your bike so it makes noise as you ride. It doesnt affect the fact that your bike works and gets you from point A to point B. You can ignore it like most people do.
 
I don't even know to give good or bad karma. I never bothered to notice.

Ok, now that I just figured out what the karma thing is all about you're going to leave the board over something this stupid??? Come on Bro, that's absolutely ridculous. This isn't a popularity contest, it's a message board for people to share ideas and information. I could give a rat's ass what people thing about me. It's none of my business what people think about me.

If I have an opinion on something I share it, if I have a question about something I ask it, if disagree with someone I express it. Who gives a fuck about karma??? This is the oldest board with the most experienced vets and mods around that truly know their shit when it comes to AS, training, diet, etc..Try to look past the petty bullshit.

People who care about the karma system have self-esteem issues they need to address.

All of these boards are cliquish. They tend to be governed by a small band of know-it-alls and no other opinions are allowed. I've gotten my share of shit but, if anything, I still feel this board is the most objective of them all.

Karma? It's just a fun gimmick. Don't take it too seriously. No one does.
 
Politics are stupid especially over the internet. Most of the time I just look for sound advice and could care less what anyone thinks of me. But if it hurts you that much I think you let things get to you too much. Good luck...

I know for a fact you don't gave a shit what people think. You're right, this is one of the most objective boards around.
