Goodbye 2006

It was a good year.

Went through my biggest (but not hardest) breakup.
moved to the beach and had an awesome summer
met some amazing people
learned a lot about myself
moved from agnostic closer to atheism
increased my salary by nearly 25%
saw my favorite band live 8 times
visited friends on both ends of the country
posted about 20,000 times
 
the highlight of 2006 for me was:

finishing college. (not that it will do much for me, but im glad the torture is over)
:)

beyond that the rest of the year completely sucked, and i will not miss it at all, LOL

i thought jesus was supposed to fullfill your life with happyness, yet you strike me as one unhappy bored motherfucker.
i realize the dogma that has been beat into your head since youth prevents you from seeing things in a rational light...but i'd seriously ask yourself if religion has made you a happier person.
cause from my spectrum it seems that you are misreable

Stop trying to tell me what and what I'm not supposed to believe in. I'm getting sick of some of you EFers who try to pull this shit.

You can give me advice on women or whatever else you want, you can even suggest different ways for me to interpret the bible, but stop asking me the throw the bible completely out the window.

Newsflash: there are unhappy Christians in the world as well as unhappy atheists and people from other religions. if you thought christianity was some sort of happy pill for everyone, you are wrong, and you are missing the point of religion entirely.

you didnt mention the bible or tell me to throw it away, that was me exagerating what you were saying.

I didnt talk about religion at all in this thread, you brought it up, after i said i was unhappy. to me that says something.

And if I'm too paranoid, then fuck, there's nothing I can do about it.

I met a lot of reallly really really good people. They were just amazing, but ended up making no friends. It was an odd year.

It was also a very fast year.

2007 is something i am not excited about at all. I don't know why.
 
Nah, the tyrant's reign of terror isn't over 'til January 2009.

The tyrant who was just hanged was ousted in April 9, 2003 and has been in custody since December 13, 2003.
