Good Substitute for upright rows ???

I nee a substitute for upright rows. one thats hits the same muscles would be preferable.
I tried to do them a million diff. ways, but nothing but pain from my rc
 
Have you tried cable upright rows. I've done them periodically when the tendonitis-that-Spatts-thinks-I-have-but-I-don't is flaring up. There is zero pain from cable uprights.

I also hit shrugs... and there is another great trap exercise that used to be popular but now no one uses... get in the standing calf raise and shrug the collar.
 
I have biceps tendonitis from time to time and cable upright rows work fine for me. Been doing upright rows for 20 years with out a single injury from them.
