What's consider a good deadlift compared to your weight? I weigh 180-185 have trained for about 17 years, last 3 got very slack. I never did deadlifts till about a month ago and I started slowly with light weights. I'm looking around the gym to find a deadlift "coach" to make sure my form is correct. Deadlifted 4 times in my life and I'm up to 315 with no problems tomorrow I'll do 365 my last set. I'm afraid of hurting myself so I'm going slow but I hear guys hear talk about deadlifts on these boards with chalk, etc and I just grab the bar and move it up. That goes back to my first question, 2x body weight considered good ?
