my friend Anthony Daresso, age 44, was competing at the masters national show in pittsburgh this week end. He died back stage yesterday just before going on . The details I have for know are second hand, I will speak to another friend soon who was with him when it happened . He grabbed his chest and fell over backward, Heart attack, attempts to revive him were unsuccessful. Anthony was form Johnston RI, and owned 2 houses in Warwick, were he was living. He was a personal trainer, and helped many people, including myself, he had many friends, and will be missed by all. The gym will not be the same without him. ( golds in providence) a few years back he won the New England's in Boston open heavyweight NPC 1st place. He was a real good guy, who wanted to do one last show, I saw him the day before he flew out for pitt, he looked incredible, I thought for sure he would win the show. SAD.

Sorry to hear of your great loss.

RIP, i will keep him in my prayers.

one time i diluted my potassium levels to the floor and almost died. My chest hurt all night and left side of shoulder and body went numb, simply from a keto diet and excessive cardio without electrolyte replenishment.

Prayers to his family. I hope many here take this to heart and take care of themselves.

that is why I made that thread of mine asking why you guys use steroids......... after reading this is just makes me wonder more !!!

did the doctors say this was directly related to his steroid use ?

sad, I feel sorry for his family and friends but my mom said if you mess with the bull you get the horns.

RIP

You're an idiot. You know nothing of aas except what you've seen in the media. Your "I told you so" attitude is based off this one circumstance? The guy had a heart attack which could have been caused by any number of reasons. Thousands of us are aas users, healthy, and get checked often. Your comments are ignorant and badly timed. Go back to your hole in C & C.
