The OK real estate market has gone down the past few years, and there are still lots of prime waterview lots available all over the valley for reduced prices. Listed for about 20% what they were asking 2 years ago.
I don't know much about development costs, but an old golf course is already there, they will build 6 new holes and use 12 from the existing course. construction is in progress and reports say is on schedule and will be open next summer.
This place looks like an interesting development, and something that I would like to get into. seems like if the buildout goes though, I'll come out a winner and possible be able to trade up though out the building process. They are currently building the course.
My concern is, in the current market, corners will be cut in order for the developer to recoup the 20% drop. This probably means less luxury finishes, cheaper building materials and longer development timeline.
What do you peeps know about treegroup?
