Im goin to vegas this friday, i was wondering what are some sites i should check out and where i should party at and i'm looking for a dope restaurant to eat at and where is the best place to get a burger?

Im goin with some friends, and Im takin this girl out to dinner, figured id do it GODZILLA for our dinner date.

Havent been to vegas in ten years and I was a kid so it wasnt even that fun....

I went last year for a trading conference. Stay downtown in the MGM Grand or something else close to the strip. My wife micromanages every vacation I have (she didn't even go with me) but she wanted to save $20 a night on my hotel (which I paid for) and I stayed at the Stratosphere, which is a nice place, but not within walking distance of anything. I paid probably $300 in cab fees which was more than what I would have paid for a nicer and closer hotel.

IMO Vegas is overrated but fun if you go with the right I suppose it can be fun. The clubs were so-so.
FYI talk to layinback. He lives in Vegas and is the man. He'll hook you up with everything.

MGM is a great place to stay - good choice!! I will be there next weekend, and then the following weekend for about 10 days for SEMA and my next race at the Speedway.......I'm so stoked!! I don't gamble, I just like to go clubbin'.........

MGM is only like a 3 star place. I rank it on the same level as Treasure Island, Paris, Luxor and Mirage. (Excaliber, NYNY rank lower than that to me).

Once you get to Venetian, there is no need to continue north. Nothing but bullshit and doo-dah land up there. Best places to stay is Mandalay Bay, Bellagio, Ceasars Palace.

If you want something to remember the trip by, take an evening helicopter tour to the Grand Canyon. You go over Hoover Dam, to the West Rim of the Canyon, and then back down the Strip at night with all the lights on.

Best Burger place (other than the basic In and Out Burger) is the Burger Factory in the Mandalay Bay walk through shops that go to Luxor. About $20 per burger but really really good.

AAP is right. Mandalay Bay is at the very south end of the strip. The Four Seasons is inside the Mandalay Bay and is probably the best place to stay.

Not much north of Venetian at all really (well, except the Wynn), lol! The stupid Stratosphere is up there at the far north end all by itself, but is about as far from the convention center as the Venetian.

I stayed at Hotel Paris before. It was pretty nice (8 years ago). They have the best fruit crepes there!

XS is a good club to hit up, but you better know someone to get you to the front of the line or get there super early. The line to get in is retarded.
