FreedomFighter, you probably will be on electronic monitoring(anklet) if you were told that you need a specific home phone line for your house arrest case. I personally know that with the Department of Corrections(I am not sure whether they are in charge of Fed cases also, but assume so), a phone line is only required if you are on the anklet. Regardless, their number one priority is the victim. If your crime was victimless, you shouldn't have a problem with your real estate job. For instance, if I raped a girl, red flags will go up if I am cruising by her home "looking" for some real estate. By the way, what do you do with real estate. I am interested in getting started with real estate speculation and rentals as there is a fortune to be made in this field. My father made a small fortune investing in commercial property on Lincoln Road in Miami Beach. Anyways, you definitely will not be allowed to have an open ended schedule, but it really completely depends on your individual officer. I did some comm. service with a guy who was on house arrest in orange county(opposed to seminole, don't know your exact whereabouts) and he said that his officer was cool as fuck and he basically did whatever he wanted. I set up a little home gym and made the best of a bad situation. Adjustable dumbells, although akward, and a hassle to change the weights are cheap. Combine that with a flat/incline/decline bench, and your good to go. By the way, I grew up in Miami, but I live in Tampa in Hillsborough county and that is where I am serving the house arrest. We are actually pretty close neighbors. I study at USF out here.

First off enigmaxxx-sorry to say go fuck yourself but i'm caught in the middle of the system right now and it really pisses me off when people don't know what their talking about. As for x being bad, I would like to see a study comparing one x's pill on the body to a hard cycle that half of us do every year.. X is bad on the brain but the brain DOES regrow cells, use logic of course you can't go overboard with it, but a yearly thing isn't going to fuck you up. Can anyone make the argument that 1 gram of test and fina "made in a bath tub" usually isn't worst on your body. Don't get me wrong i'm not promoting the use of x but just playing the devils advocate since most members here don't know much about rec. drugs due to where they live or other circumstances.
It just doesn't make sense to me how some people walk around with the blodd pressure of an 80 year old man for 12 weeks at a time but just because they take it to improve themselfs then steroids are not a drug. But if you take something to have fun your consided a druggie, even if its a few times a year. I don't know maybe i'm too open minded.

By the way, I have been to jail for a few days at a time and have spoken to many people who have been to prison as I thought that is where I might be headed. Luckily, I had money to hire a lawyer and am currently on the last leg of my house arrest sentence. From what I have heard, federal prison is not bad at all compared to state prison. Also, if you are under 25, I have heard that you can be sent to somewhere that is for youthful offenders and it is no sweat. As for state prison, most likely, somebody is going to try you. As long as you fight the first time, even if it is for something minor, like 'clean my cell' or anything, you should be alright. There are enough faggots in there that a punk doesn't want to have to fight for the booty. Don't be scared or give in to any power trip game bullshit. Fight the first time around...even if you lose, people will see that you are willing to fight and most likely they will be reluctant to try to punk you out.

Too many violent offenders getting out early because guys with 100 tabs of MDMA have to occupy Cells, because of "Manditory Minimum Penalties" associated with all States, as well as Federal, Drug Laws. I do know full well of all the manditory laws regarding penalties, etc...but there are thousands upon thousands of kids slipping into comas and obtaining permanent brain damage due to what tey would call "moderate" use of this shit. I got caught with weed but got off on a technicallity. The system works both ways. When people sell shit that they know is illegal, they are taking a chance in order to make money on something that they can get that somebody wants. It is unfortunate but not unreasonable.

Yea Miami I am located in Orange county. I actually used to live in Pinellas(where my first arrest happened). My crime is juice for both times(victimless). As we know rape, voilence, etc. are all state charges. Feds usually only handle drug case, fraud, money laundering, etc. etc. all the rest are state charges. I sell real estate for an investor. Just got in to it. Should have doen it long time ago, wouldnt be in this situation had I had a legit job ;^>
When did your H.A. start? 6months for me doesnt seem all that bad, considering my revocation guidelines were 12-18 months oif IMPRISONMENT.

sorry to correct you, but...
if you look at phsycological effects of extacy, you will clearly see that it causes chemical imbalance in brain... Yes, to regrow cells is possible, but to return to original chemical settings is almost impossible without drugs (antidepressants, etc...)

So, once again... X should be taken off the streets... Most users are teens and that is plain simple not right...

My thoughts exactly...and anyone who relates X to steroids is way off. Steroids are not recreational drugs that are used to get high and I can't remember the last time I heard 12 year olds slipping into comas and getting raped while on gear. I'm not saying that gear is safe, just that there is a big difference between the two.

Freedom, my house arrest started July 16, and I am up for early termination/rollover on January 16, 2003. My guidelines were 31 months state prison. I got a downward departure from the prosecutor and plead to a year HA followed by 3 years probation. There is no reason that my HA wouldn't get rolled over to probation in January as I have already paid all of my fines and done all of my hours.
I know most fed charges are victimless and you shouldn't have a problem with your job. It really all depends on your officer. I think that they intentionally make it a hassle to get in touch with your officer so that people won't harrass them nonstop. My officer is never in the office because she is in the field six days a week doing check-ups on cases and whatnot. She is only in the office on Tuesday. For a guy like yourself, with a job that doesn't sound like it has regular hours, a good relationship with your PO is critical. She may or may not let you call in your hours on a message machine. I overheard my PO talking to an employer of another of her cases. He has an open ended schedule and he can call in his hours to her by way of message, but the only reason she lets him do this is because his judge mandated it in his specific orders. As a matter of fact, she was explaining to his employer why she violated him and it had to do with the fact that he said he was going to be home from work at a certain hour and he wasn't. If you have the anklet, your PO probably won't come by the house or work often. That anklet is like a GPS and they can get your exact location at any given time so it is really no messing around. To me, it might be better to have the anklet because there is absolutely no temptation to go out. I don't skip out on HA myself because I have a miserable time when I am out no matter what because I can't shed the fear of "what if"... My PO has only come by the house after midnight once in four months, but it is just not worth it to me to get violated over some dumb shit. Good luck on your case. You might want to think about asking the judge to specify in your orders that you have a job in which the hours fluctuate. Sounds like you got a good job and wouldn't want to throw it away.
If you don't mind me asking, how did you get popped for juice twice? Mail? Is your 6 months to be served in full or are you eligible for early term? Good luck and keep me posted.
