Yeah - the gym just doesn't take up enough of my day.
I miss dancing and performing. I miss rehearsing 12 hours a week and taking 10 hours of technique classes a week - all on top of work and regular gym stuff. I was too tired to be bored. My old company disappeared while I was out of the state. I was really hoping to perform a bit this summer.

Maybe we should make non-party friends.

Yep, I'm a Texas girl.
That's why I talk kinda funny and like Wild Turkey.
Go hang out in that big ball building downtown.
When I was a kid I was obsessed with that building.
It has a rotating restaurant.
I hear it is kinda ghetto now.

moved to colorado then cali and back to colorado for 5 years and then to dallas

yea i used to hang at the W hotel....kinda new place ....it has a place called ghost bar in it.....its supposedly where all the cool ppl hang....there and candle room

Yeah, the water in California is cold - but you get used to it. Plus there are no big evil poisonous snakes in the rivers there.
I lived in Denver, in Capitol Hill. Colorado was fun. I love Telluride.

So true... When I go out with my old friends it is usually just sad. It is like being back in high school - and not in a good way.

I enjoy going out... it's just that, for most everyone I used to hang out with, going out has become so intrinsically linked with alcohol consuption that they can no longer be separated. They could no longer go out, hang out, or anything the like without being able to get trashed anymore.
