Goatee holders...

I thought that was called something else and that a goatee was the mustache beard combo?

anyways I am always gonna stick with both.

the full goatee (with mustache) is apparently called a vandyke (I learned that on another thread here).

I have never liked a mustache on myself, so if I decide to grow a goatee, it's only the lower portion. I dig it, it suits me well at times. The shape and length of my beard depends on the shape and length of my side burns and what my hair is doing at the time.

Vandyke=goatee? I didnt know that...

Maybe we should call it half-goatee....anyway, it's kinda cool and looks better on me than a full goatee.

half-goatee holders lets unite! :)

heres mine, i had a thin stache with it at one time but i dont like the stache.

does that take a lot of work and time to maintain? I have a hard time keeping a simple shape straight and simetrical. Whenefer I try something out of the ordinary I always fuck it up and wind up shaving it off.

It takes like maybe 20 minutes to first do, then as for maintaining, thats a bitch, cause sometimes you take off more hair from some spot than youd like and its uneven and you gotta take it off. usually i cant leave it on for more than 2 weeks till i need to buzz it.

looks cool

I like goatees as long as they are kept maintained, my ex used to grow just the 1/2 goatee but wouldnt use trimmers on it, he looked like Abe Lincoln. I hated that.

bleh. goatees look horrible. theres is no way i would hide my handsome features behind such a digusting display of hair on the follicles of my rugged chin

i've noticed this look (chin fuzz, no 'stache) on guys in their mid 20's....a generation Y thing?
