Goals and accomplishment

We all have goals when it comes to working out. I like to set them high. I am always coming up with new ones.
A funny thing happened today. I was cleaning up my hard drive on my cpu and was going through old pictures. They brought back memories. I was looking at them thinking "wow, I looked great". The irony is that when I looked at them before all I saw were my flaws. I never took the time to appreciate what I had accomplished. I was always focused on raising the bar. Thats great. You just have to take the time to see what you have done.
My point... take the time to think about all you have done. Think about what you are currently doing to achieve your goals. We need to enjoy what we are accomplishing and the commitment it takes.
Thats my story.
 
Lets do it again Slat ,enter the contest just for the sake of saying "I DID IT!"
 
its free and alot of mods have chipped in out of our own pockets to give the winners not only bragging rights ,but Prizes!
 
I'm working on it now. I am not entered in anything. I am slowly filling back out while really slowly leaning out. I am really working on bringing up my endurance. I even started running. I tend to avoid it due to two herniated disks and 4 degenerative disks. My goal is to do a Warrior Dash and the Tough Mudder in a few months.
The bottom line is really just being healthy and staying that way. Looking good will be a plus!

Looking good there slat, good luck with your goals! I'm sure you will kill it!!
 
Training is going good. At last check I was 247. After I started running I gained a few pounds. Go figure!!?!? I am sure I will come back down in due time. My goal is 230 by June.
Over the weekend I visited some friends and they commented on me working out. They thought I was 12% or so. I have some abs but not shredded. That will come in time.
All in all training is good. I am doing cardio first with running 2x a week. It wakes me up before lifting. I am a bit weaker but I am okay with that. My chicken legs are slowly filling out which is nice. Good luck finding jeans now though.
