ENERGY BARS

Good....but MOST overlook the GL...GLycemic Load and it is imo just as importatant as the GI.

GL is a reflection of the GI of food in relation to a specific amount.

A Low GI food may have a very high GL is eaten in quantity
 
Even better than the GI and the GL....

The insulin index is the combination of the glycemic index and the glycemic load of a meal.
