glute shot- air bubbles

ok, since i had a catastrophy, (in my head anyway) last week trying to inject my third shot ever back to the right quad, through the advice of others here i've decided to do the glutes. i also got me a 20 guage to draw with. i blast with 25's. now although i don't have any of those tiny little air bubbles like when drawing with a 25 and it takes forever and air gets around the plunger, from changing the pin, i got a raindrop size airbubble by where the needle starts. i had upped my dose last week to 1.25 cc which by the time i was done fucking around was probably 1cc, and tried again, and i tried to get that one air bubble out and it wouldn't come out. now wtf. hehe.

glute shot went good. ill let you know tomorrow how it feels. my brother and buddy would rather eat dog shit for three days than take another glute shot but i figure they had garbage high ba stuff.

bottom line. how much air is too much. i do aspirate by the way.

A little tiny airbubble isnt going to do anything.. If it were a few ccs of air, than that would be a different story..

Correct. A little bubble won't do a thing. Actually, my buddy was doing a thigh inject, and when he aspirated, a little bubble came into the syringe, and he says..."it came outta there, it's goin' back in".

Agree. I've been known before to leave a tiny bubble at the top by the plunger while injecting so I get it all out not leaving any in the dart. Waist not want not

No worries bro, docs often leave an air bubble behind the solution when injecting to get the full dose in. you are shooting into a msulce, not a vein!

ya, this air bubble was like up to the needle but too big to go up it and pop, im not wasting any more gear trying to get out these fucking bubbles. this shit pisses me off. hehe

If your doing glute and the airbubble is too small to get out, lol, no worries. I just hate it when your at the bottom of the vial and the needle sucks in some air inside the vial and the whole solution bubbles up inside the syringe. like 100's of lil bubbles, so i just shoot that in the glute. always been fine.

i had that same concern at one time. i was in the hospital and had an IV in my arm. occassionally some decent sized bubbles would flow right up in me. i asked a nurse and she lol'ed and said that i'd have to have a good long line of air, a few inches, for it to be a concern.

i get that when drawing with a 25 cause the air escapes around it. i keep flicking the syringe, very hard, for a minute or so and all the bubbles go into one bubble up toward the needle, usually i squeeza little and the thing pops right out. today it didn't work that way.
