Glucose at 67 when cutting?

Somebodyelse

New member
Is this to low? Has anyone ever checked this when cutting?

Also, when I cut, it becomes very difficult to do the normal daily tasks that I usually do, generally at work, I pretty much am dragging myself through everything, very braindead etc. Is this normal? Cutting at about 1800 cals will do it.

Yes it's low you need to keep it close to 80-100 , low levels like that will do nothing for building muscle.

not the way to cut if you are a lifter.

you are gonna burn away all your muscle and strength is gonna be shot.

you need carbs to survive and you definately need carbs if you want to feed muscle.

the whole high protein low carb diet is the biggest myth out there. you ARE NOT gonna get fat off sweet potato and brown rice!! but you will on dirty carbs eating at red lobster or olive garden.. i give you credit for being able to stay away from carbs and starve your body like that, you have tremendous will power and you get props from me for that.. however i want you to go to the grocery store and buy some bags of brown rice and a bunch of sweet potatoes. add those in to your diet and you will be g2g. also some NTBM protein bars in between meals will help keep your body from starving

Heres the funny part about that tho, I'm not doing a low carb diet, I was eating alot of carb foods, cause really its just cals in cals out.

anyone have a glucose level comparison?

You may be type 2 diabetic and not know it, after i found out i was i researched and found that there are over 2 million people who have type 2 diaberes and not know it!
I thought i had cancer i was loosing weight, even bought a second fridge packed it full of food i was thirsty all the time and the more i ate the more i lost! My reading wouldn't register on a Glocose meter thats over 500 i went from 200 lbs to 129.
Thanks to my Doc i'm back and up to 178 so far and slowly climbing.

this can be a simple answer like eat more balanced meals, more fat, more good carbs, more fruits/veggies....

or you can go into great detail and monitor your blood levels multiple times during the day to see how you are reacting, when are you peaking, when are you crashing, etc etc

try to just have a consistent intake of low gi carbs.

how many meals are you eating and what do you think your average macronutrient ratio is?
