for another that you've always dreamed of that earns you less $$$$

who's had experience, was the transition worth it? Stories highly appreciated (I need motivation)

nope, but I've thought about going out on my own and starting my own biz.

i started a new career and the pay is significantly less (but that should change)
for me it sucks starting over...having to be the n00b that doesn't know a thing.
once i got past that intial frustration i couldn't be happier...i never dread going to work.
some days i'm not excited about it, but i've never had that dread feeling when the alarm rings, like at my
last job.
weren't you talking about being a xray tech? good loot

yes that was my fetish last year or so, I learned there was no opportunity to really move up though. Doing the same work year n and out, meh

Like see how you have firefighting, going to diff places diff things, all the time, rest of your life won't be repetitive. Mine now is looking real repetitive and stressful

The bucks makes me happy though, i've always tried working two jobs at least when I was growing up and I didn't even need the money.

I know alot of people work for the weekend, my problem is I work for the holidays. If that makes sense
