Give me your advice

I am a 17 yr old. I love to lift weights and that is what i find my self doing most the time...although i just started. My football coach told me i had to get bigger to play. I have been using a weightgaining drink called the russian bear, and a creatin serum. And that is just not working out for me much. Here come my questions... What should i use, and where would i get it, and what are the costs... Any tips/advice would be nice.
 
What are your current stats?
U need to:
Eat about 25cal per lb of bodyweight
2g protein per lb of bodyweight
3-4g carbs per lb
Get some glutamine powder
Start takin real creatine(serum is garbage)
Train like an animal
and sleep 10 hours a night.

Tip? okay get rid of that creatine serum shit and get normal creatine monohydrate (UNFLAVORED)... Work out hard and eat like a bear! (like your drin :FRlol:)... Wait till your AT LEAST 20 to take gear... so yeah, basically what nimrod said, lol

sounds good, and thanks for the advice. But i still have more questions... what does glutamine powder do, and should i get rid of the russian bear while im at it?
 
yes git rid of the russian bear...concentrate on,Protein(and lots of it)and creatine.......RADAR
 
Get rid of the creatine derum and russian bear shit and just stick with Creatine, Glutamine, Protein and tons of clean foods. FOOD, FOOD FOOD. That's all you need. Creatine is effective, but go with straight monohydrate powder. Right now diet is the most important thing you should be focusing on. Eat every three hours at least. You must emphasize protein intake. Try for 2g per pound of body weight. Most weight gainer shakes are nothing but sugar...This is to be avoided. You want to keep insulin levels on an even keel so weight gainers are'nt conducive for this. How much do you know about diet/nutrition? With a solid diet you can put on the mass you need. It takes efferot and dedication, but it is by far the limiting factor in increasing body mass. You have to eat more calories than you expand on a daily basis. You must be consistant with this approach or your body won't be able to grow new muscle mass. The vast majority of supplements are scams. Most people don't know the first thing about them so they buy them by the case loads thinking they're the short cut. Food is the most anabolic agent there is. Get your diet together and you will grow.
