Thanks everyone for your support. It was an awesome feeling. I have had the strength to do it for a while but have had a huge mental block about it. A while ago when I was getting strong enough to do it I tore my left pec and have been a little scared of doing it again ever since.

Oh yeah another pr was that I only weighed in 10lbs lighter than my bro for the first time ever. He is down to 300 and I am hanging in at 290.

Awesome brother!! Did you tear the pec off the bone? I saw a guy who did that, and his chest hangs lower on one side. He still cant bench, range of motion is fucked. Howd you get it back?

No I just tore it across the surface near the distal insertion. They called it a superficial tear. Bruised from near my elbow to my mid chest and hurt like a bitch for about a month. Just stopped lifting for a couple of weeks then only did like 95lbs on bench for another month then slowly worked back up. Even since I have been kind of afraid to bench heavy for fear of doing it again. So getting 405 was like facing up to my fears and telling them to fuck off.
