anyway, that's essentially what i am saying... money isn't the be and and end all but you have to have enough to be comfortable. and a big rock i couldn't care less about. or a vacation. my parents had nothing when they were married and my mum's ring cost 50 bucks and they never went on a honeymoon. they've been married 31 years.

Why don't you just move in with me? My mom can cook some killer food for us, house will always be clean, and my doggy can keep your doggy company as long as your doggy is polite.

But what's all this talk about long days away from home? You won't have to work... so what's the point of being out? You'll probably be out gallivanting around with baldheaded muscle men in skimpy black underwear. I let you into my home and this is how you repay me?

I have a beautiful engagement ring and diamond wedding band....they are too elaborate to wear on the same hand (to give you an idea of their size). I misplaced them several months ago (My Kristina was cleaning my desk up and I took the rings and put them in a "safe" place......forgot where and haven't been able to locate them since.)

Guess what? I firmly believe the reason they were "forgotten" in the first place is because they lost thier signifigance long before I put them in that safe place......I didn't miss them, nor do I now. Hopefully, I will find them someday and be able to give them to one of my children or some other family member because they really are very beautiful pieces.

I NEVER want another ring again. I will buy my own jewelry from now on.

Someday, if I am very fortunate, I will happen across a special man and we will share our hopes and dreams...don't want money, don't want "I love you", don't want a big shiny rock - just a man who will show me everday of my life how much he appreciates and cares for me.

Take the money and buy a house or something important.....or go for the wonderful vacation. Have some wonderful memories.
