My girls dachshund is a pain in the ass. Her family didnt train it and it pisses me off everyday. It has to sleep with us or it cries and pisses everywhere. Today I was going to cut my hair on the deck and there was shit everywhere and it rained last night so we have hot wet shit brewing under the sun. It barks at everyone and thing that passes the house and begs for food. It is three years old, is this dog hopeless or what?

all dogs can be trained, you just have to make time to do it and have treats and patience, you're gonna have to do it because CLEARLY they wont do it, u can try watching dog whisperer and seeing his website, do a goggle search for the folowing:
dog potty train
Stop dog begging
handling Separation anxiety

Those are your 3 most important tasks, it wont happen over night, be patient bro, oh and prepare to walk him, dogs need to be tired, specially small energetic toy breeds and try good brand dog food so poop will be small and hard so at least it's easy to pick up.

Times to walk a dog for outdoor potty training: A. When they wake up
B. 30 - 60 min after eating
Do NOT let them free feed, feed only twice a day morning and night, leave plate for an hour, if they eat fine if not remove the plate, they wont start and they'll understand there are times to eat.

i'm sure he's a pain in the ass, but you can't blame him. it's not his fault he wasn't trained properly. he's still young enough you can get him under control. you can house break dogs much older than 3.

Well she'd have to really weird if she gets angry at him for wanting to train the dog, of course if he tells her that the little shi is the devil and she fails as an owner and now he has to take charge then yes she will get mad, if he's smart and starts training the dog because he saw this cool show on animal planet she probably wont
