Im appalled by all the members here who stress their opinions so outwardly to a post that someone has made in order to hopefully educate those who may be uneducated and belive that AS may or may not make them sterile. You all bicker and fight like children, not heeding the fact that this is an actual event occuring in this mans life.
I dont know why anyone would try to dictate to another human being how they should or shouldnt live their life.
There is an old saying that "benevolence is in the eye of the behold, as is evil". Unless you are this very man, in his very situation, with all aspects of your lives being the same....how can you possibly make an unbiased and fair judgment of this mans character or his actions?
Some of you scream fairness to an unborn baby, yet this is a world where even the born arent treated fairly.
I was adopted at birth, and have known my birth mother my entire life. Am I glad she did it?....yes. It would be irrational for me to say no because I am of sound mind and body. But how would I have rational thought if my brain never developed to that point.
Freakaziod: Think long and hard on your decision...this is one of the most important ones in your life. Have faith in yourself and your girlfirend, because it is the two of you who ultimately make this decision. Whatever you choose..make sure 100% that this is the outcome that you want.

Above all try to remember that respect is probably the best form of advice that you can give someone. If someone is adult enough to try to warn others from making the same mistake as he did, I do belive he is adult enough to make decisions about his and his girlfriends life.
