Maybe it was a subconcious thing I was tired of hiding it and was pretty sure she wouldn't make a big deal about it.

A few years ago, a friend of mine got paranoid and asked me if I could hide his amphetamines for a while. He would pick them up before he was going to work. Since I didn't like getting up that early in the morning, I told him I would hide them in our mailbox late at night and he could just open it in the morning and take them.
But my grandmother found the package and thought the mailman had left it there. She asked me if it was mine... I was very lucky that my dad didn't find them or that she hadn't asked my dad if this package was his.
I didn't want to put them back in the box and I couldn't just stand next to the mailbox waiting for my friend, so I got out of bed and started 'washing' my car (which was parked next to the mailbox) so I could just hand it to him as he drove by. Pretty funny since I allready had that piece of crap car for years and had never washed it before, certainly not that early in the morning...
