GH w/deca only a good idea?

PLEASE HELP! started GH 6 weeks ago along with deca only(at 300mg/week). started the gh at 2iu a day and worked up a half IU a week until 4 iu reached by the 5th week, 6 days on, 1 off. training, diet(maitenance with 40protein30carbs30fat) are on point but dissapointed so far with the results. they are not bad but they are not miraculous as have seen with 2 different friends who did gh with test for 8-12 weeks and transformed their bodies. have 2 kits left and want to get the most out of them. chose deca because hair started thinning a few months ago in the back and read that deca is the safest for hair loss. my genetics for gaining muscle on gear only are good but i always had a big problem getting rid of my big unprportionate love handles and my chest has more fat on it then the rest of my musculature. these are stubborn areas on me that were always resistant to anything i tried. that is why i am even trying gh. my MAIN goal is great fat loss with moderate muscle gain.
i am 27, been training on and off for 7 years, 5'8, and now 164lbs(155 when i started this cycle). i want that vin diesel look. big enough and lean. did i make a good choice of gear or is test with GH a must for accelarated fat loss and musculature? sorry that i just wrote a novel but am desperate and need advice. thanx!
 
well if you want to start losing wait I think that you should manipulate your diet better. Are you taking in enough protein??
4IU is a good amount for someone your size. Increase the gear that you are taking in a week that is for sure. I would say about 700-800 a week. Look on the net Ketosis and how to put your body into that state. I don't feel like writing a book about it here.

im considering the same cycle because im also concerned about about hairloss. i havent had much luck getting feedback on it on the boards though.

i think 9 lbs in 6 weeks on only 40g of protein isnt too bad at all. im assuming your body fat went down as well. is that your total food consumption for a day? that seems kind of low. how many calories is that? i agree with lifeblood that your protein intake is probably too low. hopefully, some of the more experienced bros will chime in on your thread.

if your goal is to lose weight, im not sure deca is the best AS for you. you might try anavar instead. its expensive but its mild on your hair, and you wont hold as much water from the deca.
 
hey thanks for the input bros. what i meant with the diet is 40% of calories from protein 30% carbs and 30% healthy fats. i get anywhere from 175 - 200 grams of protein a day. my main question here though is:

is test really a must to reap all the benefits from gh?

i actually have 2 bottles of var. when should i throw them in? perhaps when i am done with the deca in order to solidify gains?
how kind is var to the hair anyway? as compared with deca?
 
i dont think i would say test is a must, but you will probably get much better results from the test in regards to size. i dont know about cutting. i wouldnt run the var after the deca because you should be running the var for about 8 weeks min. if your already in week 6, i would continue to run the deca for another 2-4 weeks, maybe through in some test prop. and hold off on the var. wait 8-10 weeks. then start the var.
