Getting waxed at the salon

oes anyone know if lidocaine 4% or EMLA shit help to prevent any of the pain from waxing? Also do pain killers like vicodin help or do they only help with pain after the fact such as the pain after getting wisdom teeth out? Also has anyone got wasted and then got waxed? Did it reduce pain? I would imagine it would. I don't want to deal with it.

Waxing does not hurt that much. (Ok except for a Brazilian. THAT REALLY HURTS!)
Over time the hair will grow in thinner. Waxing often over a long enough period of time will damage the hair root and its ability to regrow. Cost for a back should be around $50US. If it much more than that then you're being ripped off (no pun intended). Day spas are usually the best places to go since they typically hire one or two people who focus on just waxing. They know the best way to minimize the amount of discomfort. If you know any women who get their legs waxed check with them to see where they go.
