this is correct rational advice..however some of us are not capable of this (i.e me) i have found the only solution is time and or meeting someone your really into and you'll completely forget about the ex...thank the lord u dont have a kid with her (it makes getting over someone about 10x harder because they are still in your life). time heals all...the one thing I dont suggest is dating just anyone for the hell of it..because you'll will no longer want that person and your going to be hurting someone else ( i have done this a few times and felt like shit after for leading that person on).
