my source was busted recently crossing the Mexican border. He was slapped a large fine and questions whether or not he should pay it. If he does not pay it, will they track him down?

How do you think people get warrants? hahaha, tell him not to pay it, the next time he gets stopped for speeding, jaywalking whatever, the cops will have a field day on his @ss.

Yes he should pay the fine. If not, they will issue a bench warrant after a given time period. And then, the next time he gets pulled over for something stupid, he is fucked.

Just curious: How much did he get caught with and what was the fine? Did he walk or drive?

How the fuck do you get 15,000 worth of gear on you? Dude must have been clinking like fuckin' wind chimes with all those amps.

If he can't pay it all off, they will usually work out a payment plan with him.

My buddies and I drove across the last time. Customs searched our car. We shit our pants. But 10 minutes of searching... they found nothing.
