When you go in to get the script, talk about concentration problems that you have had since you were little. Problems with peers, girlfriends, grades and in your personal life. Tell him that you do not mean too, but you are easily distracted. Tell him that when you talk to some people- that they think that you are rude because when you see some one else walk by, you have to look at them. Tell the doc that you were tested and had a perscription for ritalin when you were little and it helped untill you got into High School, then your parents took you off of it because they thought that you had "grown out" of your ADD. Act really upset. Tell him that you know that there are new medications for ADD and that you feel that without medication you face failure not only in school, but in your personal life as well. Look around the room alot and ask him what time it is during the conversation. Even if there is a clock on the wall. Dont wear a watch. Tell him that you are always late to everything and that you have a hard time completing assignments in school and at work.
It really depends on the doctor, but this really covers most of the symptomoligy. You can fake ADD. It is not hard. But Doctors are very suspicious. This is your best chance. He may refer you out to a Psychiatrist, if you have insurance - go - those fuckers hand out adderall and ritalin like it was fuckin candy....
