I have two tatts that are bad ass. I waited my entire adult life to get. One can only be seen if I am wearing a bathing suit. The other is only seen if I specifically show it.

I can't for the life of me understand why ANYONE (other than the culture where it is traditional and part of who they are) would tattoo their face. But then again, very few people *get* me.

The people that are depicted on this thread are clearly DROWNING in the shallow end of the gene pool so such blatant identification might not be such a bad idea. LOL

Feel you on this one. I'd known since I was 18 that I wanted a tatt but never saw/thought of one that I'd want permanently. Till I turned 36. I got one at 36 and one at 37. I may get one more but doubtfull. Unless I see/think of one that REALLY blows me away.

I LOVE the two I have, never regretted either for a second.

One of these days I will have to get a close-up of it. It took the artist 20 minutes just to get her one hand *right* - the most important element of the tatt. Pissed off though, as I didn't know about emo oil back then and was told to put bacitracin and saran wrap over it. You want to talk about THE WORST THING you can do for a tatt!!! Unfortunately the very small lines of her fingers blurred because my skin broke out in a rash. Luckily though, not badly enough so that the *story*/*lesson* of the tatt was lost.

I Think Body art has a correlating aesthetic appeal on some. Others it just does not match... Kinda like colored hair looked good on RoDMAN, BUT like when Tiger Woods, bleached his do,e for a week it, lopked kinda trite pr something.
