Getting a Boob Job

Thats a great idea. But wait a couple of months before posting so all the swelling and black and blues go away.

How are they doing it? Your best bet is to get the incision under your armpit because there will be less scarring.

You can get alot of info on implantinfo.com, or yes they're fake.com. I have smooth Mentor, round, saline, unders, tran axillary. I had it done over 6 years ago. My size is a full D cup, sometimes I wish I went a little smaller because it has really affected my posture- make sure to keep your posture perfect from the start. 6 years later and I realized my back is looking round because my back muscles have become lax, and my pecs are so tight that they are pulling my shoulders forward. So I'm working on strengthing my back and keeping my shoulders down and back. Invest in some good sports bras for the gym as the breasts can get in the way, especially during cardio/jogging. Overall i would definetly do it again. Just make sure you are absolutley CLEAR to your surgeon what you want, I wanted a full C,small D and he made me a full D because he felt my skin was so elastic and it matched better with my hips. So communication is key. Best of luck to you. :) Sarita

experanced man right here

best thing is to talk to a friend or someone you know who has had it done for some advice on recovery and preperation, pick a good surgeon, and read up as much as possible whether on the intranet or from a book in Barnes & Noble, they have some good ones.

sounds like he gave you what HE wanted and not what you wanted! Can you have the doc put full c's in , instead? or is that too much to go through again?

Hi sparetire,
Yeah, go figure. I've thought about a re- do to go smaller. Its hard now to take time out of work & training to have surgery. But even if the Dr would do it for free, I would still have to pay anesthesiologists and hospital fees. Implants dont usually last a lifetime (its been over 6 years now), so when I need a replacement, I plan to go a little smaller at that time.

Don't push yourself into exercising too soon. You may want to restart weight training, but allow yourself a full time to recover. You will be really, really sore (words cannot describe it) the first few weeks after. My girlfriend was in pure agony when she got hers.

Vicodin!!! Acutually, its not that bad.. ive had hangovers that were worse.lol
really? is there something else besides vicodin? i dont do well with that.. my stomache doesnt do well with it..

Good for you, I am happy for you, I have had mine for maybe 3 years and love em. My only regret is not going big enough, please do research. PLEASE do research on the doctor as well. Recovery is not that bad, you can't wash your hair for a while, b/c it is really hard to lift you arms, so be sure someone can help w/ that. And, ask for whatever pain meds work for you, if vicodin upsets your stomach ask for vicoprofen, it is mixed with ibuprofen or try percocet or something, but always eat

Ask for Percoset instead......but make sure you always take pain meds with food.....and med up before the pain starts in - ie med before the full time is elapsed before your next dose....

My wife read this post and wanted to reply. I had my augmentation done 11 years ago. I went from a 34AA to 34C. I went under the muscle and had my incision under the arm. Recovery was horrible. Five years later I had one rupture and had to go back in. I went to a 34DD. The recovery this time was much better (ask for demerol in the pill form). My daughter just had her's done and her recovery was much less painful than mine.
Better techniques now. I absolutely think it was a great thing. I am 5'4 and 125. I don't have issues with back pain or posture. Just go to a doctor that you like and feel comfortable with.

though it might seem like no big deal to many, it is very helpful to know stuff like this (hairwashing deal)... the small details end up being important! thank you, krissy!

ANOTHER QUESTION FOR THE EXPERTS:

My doctor has recommended going over the muscle- he thinks its the best way to go for my body. What i want to know is what the difference is? Does it matter? any pro's/con's to either?

If you have some breast tissue, over the muscle may be OK. If you do not have much breast tissue and you get over the muscle you may have some implant 'show through' or rippling. I think its important to go with what will produce the best results w/ your body/ situation. I've heard that over the musle can sometimes can interfere with mammograms as it in the glandular breast tissue, important if you have any family history of breast cancer or abnormal mammos in past. I have under the muscle. The only part I find annoying is that when I flex the chest, the implants move upwards with the chest muscle, annoying when I work out chest because I think it looks funny- so I just wear a baggy shirt on those days. But kind of funny because I can move them w/ my muscles and do a boobie dance for my hubby! :lmao: Also I appreciate having under the muscle because it acts as an internal support/bra and hass less chance of 'bottoming out' /implant sag. I do think that overs look great on alot of girls though because it allows for that upper breast roundness which is so sexy. Best of luck to you!

go with partials. they look/feel very natural & dont negatively effect your upper body weight-training.

if your seriously thinking of over-the-muscles- this is pretty much how they will look-

first, going over the muscle makes it harder to detect any abnormailities i.e. cysts or solid masses (like during a mammogram).

also, there is a greater chance for capsular contractions (hardening of the breasts). I am am curious as to why he feels like it is better for your body? When you go over the muscle it is much more evident that you have implants.
(just so you know this is the wife speaking, not my husband :) )

lol.. yeah i kinda figured that. he he
well my dr says that in my case, it would prob be better to go over because i actually was more concerned with "the look" and "lift".. but now im not too sure about that. i want them to look nice, and somewhat natural, but not so natural that i just look like i have huge boobs and they sag (i guess thats my fear...lol). i guess im still more interested in the look just not as much as i initially was.

My doctor made the incision under the nipple. I used to be able to orgasm with nipple play, I was so sensitive. Now I just yawn when touched there. Those cut nerves never heal up in some women. Just something to consider.

I've had two implant surgeries. The second only because I wanted to go larger. The pain is the worst on day 2 and 3. After that it gets much easier. My advice to you would be go as large as possible because you get used to them really quickly. Good Luck!!

Are you getting saline or silicone? That will make a difference in respect to rippling, going over/under.

I got them done already. I got saline and I went over. I really like them and I took the advice that I was given by many in going larger. I went 75cc's larger. At first I couldnt get used to them but now that the swelling has minimized, I am really happy with the way they look.

I have more pain now though than I did during the first week. Im going on my 3rd week now. My skin is so sensitive, I feel like I have a sunburn..

Just had mine done Friday. THe pain was bad that day and the day after, but today, I didn't need ANY pain meds at all, not even Tylenol (post-op day 3)! My MD gave me oxycontin and percs (one for long term pain and percs for breakthrough pain), celebrex for anti=inflammatory adn an anti-biotic. I went shopping today, showered, washed hair, no problems. I'm so happy I did this and can;t believe how good I feel. I did 360cc mod under muscle, incsision under breast. I would have done a trans-axilllary but my surgeon said that a crease incision was good to have in case of any problems, and the scar would not be seen. I have a good amount of muscle (I just won overall at an NPC comp 2 weeks ago.) so I was warned that I'd be more sore, but not the case! Good Luck!

You should be careful and take it easy. I felt just like you did- I thought that everything was going great with no pain and being able to do more than I thought.. I only ended up bringing on the pain. Also, you probably wont actually feel the real pain for another 7 to 10 days... thats when the pain really started with me. I got 500cc on top of already being a C cup... my skin feels like it's raw because the skin is stretching.. ouch!
Just take it easy and hopefully you can find a bra that fits comfortably and is actually pretty. Victoria's Secret only carrys up to a D in the IPEX style.

SheDragon,

Where are the pics?

My wife had hers done and her only regret was not going bigger. Frozen peas or corn in the big bag mold nicely, and help keep swelling down.
She went under the muscle, round, saline, from 34b to 36d. Wishes she'd have done em 36dd. I think they're fine, and fun! ;)

From the looks of things, you don't need any enhancement. I think fake boobs look rediculous anyway. Bigger is not always better, and nicely shaped natural breasts are SOOOOO much better than balloon looking fake ones. This is really a sickness in modern society, perpetuated by men who go gogo over them no matter how silly they look.

The wife got a pain pump that ran a thin wire and pumped pain meds in her for like 7 days, she never felt pain and was good to go after a few days. It was like 800 extra though for th pain grenade. She went under the muscle 36c but could have gone bigger. She loves em because they were pancakes after my son sucked the dry after he was born. Now they are great.

Go under the muscle if you want clevage! Under the muscle puts the boobs so far apart!!! BIG Gap between boobs!! Very unnatural...I had them done twice under and looked horrible! This time I got them done on top and they look great!! Clevage for days!!! Double DD's!! I've seen many people with boob jobs, I worked in a tanning salon...Over is better! Pain isn't bad at all...sore alittle...wasn't bad for me..but everyone is different! Can't work out for month and half! 2 weeks and your fine..GOOD LUCK!!

I am a bit of an expert with this..have had saline unders / anatomical gel overs and now round overs (yes finally happy and no problems..phew)

My advise. Go see at least 3 PS. Take pics of what you consider perfect/too small/too big. Pics speak louder than words. As far as placement, I would say overs are the best IMO..unders you get distortion when you use the muscle. Also there is not a lot of natural tissue under the muscle ..so why would you put an implant there if you don't have to :)

I would also go with silicone. the difference in feel between saline and gel is like night and day..the gel just feel a LOT more natural. The new ones can be cut clean in half and still not leak so they are pretty dam safe. We have been using them here in Australia since 1992..

If you have any specific questions..feel free to PM me. Oh and get some Arnica..is great to take straight after BA as helps with healing :)
