Georgia ... it's first Ice Storm this year.

:rainbow: Sitting here and can't leave the house. We got hit by our first Ice Storm of the year. Seems like all we ever get is ice or sleet....hardly ever any snow. At least with snow you can go out in it and have some fun... ;)

man! the trees are white here, with ice that is.

My central unit froze up. gotta take care of that in a few minutes!

We were supposed to get it, i dont think we did tho,

I got ice everywhere. Luckily everything is still working. But the damn dog won't come in. He is having fun. Shit, I am in here with the fireplace. ;)

My furnace is in the basement. I have heat down there. Ah, shiat it's raining again. Don't the central unit just work the A/C?

not if you have a heat pump system??? the compressor runs also in the winter, i believe?

That is what I don't miss one bit about Georgia. The ice storms, then you have downed powerlines - happens every single year - no power, no hot water - etc....

You know what I used to do? I would go out to the YMCA on Clairemont and purchase a weeks membership $50 and use the facility there. Always had hot water, always had electricity and heat. Of course, every other fag in town and bisexual married man in the next three states had the same idea. You had a line formed outside the sauna just waiting to get in. Guys were showering 3-4 each under the SAME shower nozzle. The showers there had like 10 shower heads on each side of the wall.... it was just so many there. Then you saw the fucking morons/losers that had been under the shower for so long their fingers were wrinkled.

Bitch please.

We got hit with this this morning in East Tennessee.

It was cool, the car was covered in about 1/4" thick ice all over.

Got hit pretty good in Atlanta. Everything was under a sheet of ice when I woke up. I always take a picture when we get visiable winter winter. I am still remembering a 2-3 inch fresh show pic a few years ago that was pretty cool. He is a frozen bush outside my front door.

:rainbow: You are very true ...we have 2 heat pumps. One for upstairs and the other for down . We haven't had any trouble yet. Thought our lights were going to go out on us twice but they didn't. If they go out tonight, we will be in front of the fireplace keeping warm.
Everyone becarefull tonight....it's all going to refreeze....... :worried:

Yeah, but you've got to miss Coffee's Gym! A classic joint.

The ice is bad though. The yard is like a skating rink with ice-cicles hanging all around the house.

:rainbow: Well our power went out last night about 11:30...we survived the night with out heat..... ;) The fireplace came in handy. Power came back on this morning around 7:30ish. We have a couple of huge tree branches that fell...so now it will be yard work for us..... :wavey:
