This is a great thread - thanks for bringing it up.

First, why are you seeing ads at all? Did you know that as a Platinum Member, you can turn all ads off. Just click the "Profile" link at the top of the page, then click "Edit Options" and select the Platinum option at he bottom of the page to turn off all ads. You won't have ads any more and the pages will load even faster. And thank you for supporting the site as a Platinum Member.

Second, regarding GH spray - I agree, total waste of money, but Ulter's right, Google serves many of our ads including that one and we do not have much say on what is displayed - unless you're Platinum, then you can choose to turn them all off.

Now, if that GH spray company came to me to buy ads directly, would we sell ads to them? The answer is yes we would. But, unlike many sites, we would let you be critical of the advertiser, and we would encourage the advertiser to respond to your criticisms.

In bodybuilding and especially in supplementation, the differences of opinions on what works and what does not work are enormous. My job is to give you the best forum possible to discuss, debate, and learn - not to censor. To that end, I like to think that I have a pretty good track record myself - with this thread being an example. Several years ago, before I sold my supplement company, Mass Quantities, you could find many postings about our supplements. They are still in the archive. The posts were overwhelmingly positive, but you can find negative ones too - especially around the time the new owner took over production. But, I like to think that even when it comes to my own brands, you are free to criticize as well as praise. The same goes for the Platinum Memberships. Most Platinum Members, love their membership, but there are a few guys who think that I am Lucifer the Antichrist for wanting and needing to make some money to keep Elite online.

I don't see anything wrong with his response at all. It is what is and seems like the truth. Honestly speaking this country runs on advertising and if they help keep elite up and running that's fine by me........

i wasnt making fun of him. most people would have gotten upset and lashed out. i understand its a biz. the goal is to make money. but either way he cant control it. and with his supplement company he knew the quality of his product but ur not gunna have EVERYONE liking it, a real company wil get 95% good response and 5 % bad reviews but either way leave them all up. a shayd company will get 50- 50 good bad reviews but erase the bad 50% so no one sees them.

I agree with George the forum should not be censored because if a product has more dissatisfied users then they are more likely to post negative comments than those that are satisfied. There are people that believe that all supplements are a fraud and just a waste of money in fact senator Mc cain of Arizona agreed with them and tried to block our access to a lot of the herbal remedies that are easily available right now. In a way he would be censoring your access to things that many people believe are a good way to heal our bodies without the price tag and the side effects that come with most pharmaceuticals. Thank god he failed! NB a lot of pharmaceutical products are harmful and useless and yet they are advertised all over the net and TV but no one is complaining. Bravo to you George for not falling for the pressure and running a balanced free forum.

I have only one small comment,

you have a company of the likes of NTBM here....

but then you have one peddling almost blatant 'crap' if this HGH oral spray thing is true.. ther eis a great disparity, and maybe people who trust NTBM which I do, and others do, they might make the mistake of thinking this other firm has the quality and integrity of mr. Chase, etc...?
