Ok you and the crue master minded this karma cure for the site and i am sure you thought long and hard, right? Well heres a brainstorm you over looked so explain this to me if you can! Ok everyone has to buy karma now.Your offering a 7 day plat trial for 30,000 karma hit...So now no one can earn karma.You really think people will be passing out free trials for plat anymore?
To get one you would need like 8,000 karmas of your own and then you would need to buy 20,000 plus you get 2,000 now thats 19.95 thats more then just signing up for a month....So how do you think its going to work? How many plat trials have been bought since you changed the karma rules? Id say none! So why event have a plat trial for 30,000 when no one can earn karma to buy one? So now i am seeing a lose in sales being people like to try things before spending money..Myself i am not paying till i get the free e books with a membership...and if my firewall didnt go off the wall everytime i log on here i might feel i was paying to be protected but its not looking that way. So you should lower the free trial price or just throw it away completely.Antway you slice it here and more its all about a dollar.
 
realy ame good point.I would rather just by some one a month plat.thats what they should change it to.buy a free month trile plat for a friend 30,000k.you would think giveing some oone plat for a month would make them more atached to it then haveing it for a week.it would give people more time to grow acustum to haveing it makeing it harder to give it up when the month is up.

Thanks bro...Trying to keep it real.This site was made for the members paying ones or not...With out members there is no site. It shouldnt be about what the Man wants,its about what the members want too! There the ones paying the bills they should have some say so to a point.

that's my point, how many sites have you seen that require a CC # for say, age requirement verification. Then once the free month is up the CC starts getting billed. Most peeps miss this for a good couple months and then realize they're getting fucked......kinda like being here now. lol!
 
This site sucks now. I first started coming here back in like 99. Before all of this platinum and karma nonsense. Back then there were no sponsors, none of this e-book garbage, no spam emails from Spellwin. It was just some hardcore bros talking bodybuilding. This place has fallen so far. You can't even say anything negative about a sponsor's product or services on here anymore or it gets deleted. Censorship is a bitch. This is why all of the good, knoweldgable bros that were around here years ago all left as soon as this place started to become commercialized. This place sold the fuck out a long time ago and its only getting progressively worse and worse. I was actually considering joining platinum too so that I could reactivate my old name, but screw that. There are other boards on the net.

I think peeps are finding out the truth about internet saftey vs. say the phone. It is 100x harder to pick a CC# off the net (from a credible site) then it is to snatch it off the phone. Internet sales are growing like mad each year and each year is betrter than the next.

Yes you did bro and thanks...Giving people a chance to share a plat trial is good for the site,now its well out oh reach for most. Just making a point that the system really isnt fix...Maybe you should shit can the karma taxes also since you no longer give it out for free.If your buying it to give to others why should you pay a tax on it too? Why should you still get a peice of the pie? Event after we spent hard earned money just to share it with others?

Just asking.....do you think GS even cares what his paying customers think about the whole karma thing? He does polls on trivial stuff around here. Why not poll plat members on something that really matters to them. He can use the poll to see what the majority of members think about the karma changes, and then, use the information to draw up a karma plan that works not just in his interests, but for everyones.

Right now the majority of members' interest are not being considered IMO. How could they be when we weren't even asked (if we were I missed it)?

Call it bitching if you want...Ummm, if we Americans just laid down and took it back before we acquired our independance, where would we be today?? If you don't speak out, no one will know how you feel. Maybe it doesn't matter to them, who knows??? Maybe it does.

Ozz makes some very good points. I spent years in Marketing & Sales where we tried every way we could to please and delight the customer. We needed the loyalty of those who were buying our product and we needed to grow the business with new customers.

When we did this properly, we made more and more profit. When we pissed off our customers, it showed on the bottom line. They went somewhere else and bought.

While it is true that you can not please everyone, a number of changes at EF lately have been met with anger and protest. This is not a wise thing to continue to do. I saw how the EF Staff tried to solicate suggestions and test ideas ... good move. But then when the changes were made, it was all the most unpopular.

The changes that have effected me have been those that have taken the enjoyment out of being here. That would be the K changes. They seem punitive. I still try to give k, but the amounts and number per day have been reduced.

I still think that this site is the best of its kind. The layout is superior and the Membership is still the best informed and helpful. I backed up my opinion with my renewal. I'd just like to see more improvements that really grow the business while retaining the loyal base.

It was a joke, if you check, I have consistently been giving out K. You have become blinded by your own policies instead of honestly listening to peoples opinions.

It seems somehow you think you are paying us to be here.

If you read Ozz post you would of seen, I was the one who gave him a gift plat out of my K. So I am in no way the cheap one here.

Great suggestions, as are many others on this thread, unfortunately they have dug their heels in, instead of understanding that we are just trying to continue to make this the great place we all came to know and enjoy.
