George Spellwin, serious question regarding minors in the forum

There has been some disturbing behavior in chat in the last 36 hours.
An underage minor, a junior in high school came into this forum and posted.

Those threads have now been deleted but only have hundreds and hundreds of posts and up for many hours engaging in talk with this underage female.
Since they are deleted the only ones that really can stand out in my memory were posts by Lestat and Javaguru, prolly more, but I know that I saw them asked for her to post naked photos.

Mind you, its retarded on any level to say that to a new female poster turning off most normal women but the fact that this is a minor also makes it illegal.

Lestat went so far as to give instructions on how she could have sex with ef members legally, again, to a minor female.

Dateline NBC did a special recently where they had an underage female posting on chatboards have several adult men stop by her house looking for sex. To their surprise they were greeted by a newscrew. Some being a NYC firefighter, a rabbi etc...

We were all disgusted and furious about those scumfucks who would do that. Can we tolerate that behavior by Lestat and Javaguru on our own chat forum??


This is pretty serious in my book. Here we have an underage member coming to this forum besieged by these two predators to post her tits and AGAIN, Lestat gave her instructions on how to have sex with members b/c she was underage. INCREDIBLE!


I think that this should warrant banishment, not to mention jailtime for soliciting a minor but in the very least guidelines on treatment of underage members should be made a priority and enforced by moderators.
Im not talking about being catty b/c she took attention away from the bayou booger farmin' cousins. But direct solicitation of nude pictures and definitely instructing a minor on the best way to have sex to lessen the legal implications for an adult member.

Adults preying on children on the internet should NEVER be tolerated, not here, not anywhere, but especially not here.

There should be banishment no questions asked and both Lestat and Javaguru made statements that she was underage and then continue to ask for nude photographs and again. Lestat gave a state by state break down on where she might be able to have sex with older members of the board.

Plain and simple. This garbage needs to be banned.

Either that or make a warning to this board that they should be 18 before entering b/c of people like these two

I agree with the minor stuff I think. Hitting on a minor is less than kosher. I dunno about hte punishment stuff though. Nobody got hurt or anything. I really don't know. This is making me uncomfortable. I'm going to play some video games.

Yes, its true that why its so serious that I think personally addressing Spellwin on how to treat underage members. Its one thing to not allow them, its quite another to allow them and let people like Lestat give the instructions on where they can have sex to limit legal consequences.

She was a minor, its part (b) in the TOS, not to harm minors.
He knew it, he broke and I think this is the most serious TOS rule that can be broken dealing with impressionable minds

she didnt lie. She has her b-day in her profile. And she posted a pic of herself holding a sign saying somthing something and that was a girls body
 
I saw some of the threads and the posts you are referring to. I understand what you're saying, but I also realize that sarcasm via the internet can sometimes be misread. Sure, they were bad jokes, but that's all they appeared to be from the chair I sit in. I highly doubt that Lestat and Javaguru intended for their comments to be taken seriously. Neither one of them have ever given me the impression that they prey on underage girls via the internet.

She made it clear that she was a minor and a junior high school. Lestat agreed that she checked out as not an alter and then proceeded to give state by state regulations on where she could legally have sex with adult members.

The fact that she is an underage minor but even if she wasnt, its still illegal to do that and cops pose as underage posters to catch these people all the time. The fact that undercover cop isnt underage, the fact that it is reasonable to believe that the person engaging with that person thinks he/she is underage is enough to make it illegal.

umm isn't 17 the legal age of consent in most states? If so, who gives a fuck. I say witch hunt because you dropped only two names and I can remember that there were more than two members tripping over her in those threads.

I only recall Lestat really pushing it on the first threads clearly b/c he went above and beyond with his discussions, at one point he'd play like she was jailbait and then followup with several sexual posts trying to play it off like he usually does.

Then it was explained that the first WTF thread was deleted by Stilleto b/c she was underage and then Javaguru right after the explanation asked her to show her tits and skin in a later post. This after knowing she was underage.

So those were the only two I clearly remember, one being above and beyond by Lestat with legal instructions and later Javaguru once again pushing it another thread.
So lets set some examples of what happens when you do that to an underage member

I read farther down on the page I posted and it looks like it's 18 unless they're married. I dunno though lots of legal jargon on that page.

Okay.

In the end, I would agree with BB provided that some laws (or something of that nature) are broken. However, I'm not up on all the laws around RR's state or L's state so I don't know if the girl qualifies as underage or not. Hence, I'm not passing judgement until I find that out. However, if things are broken...sorry guys...but you are the suck.

As for being crude or crassy, let the first one without sin cast the first stone.

If anyone saw the threads, you will notice that we had not established age until a few posts into the converstion. I repeatedly warned people, especially hotzie and samote, to stay safe and not get busted for soliciting a minor. I've seen the level that e-flirting has gotten to here and I agree wholeheartedly with BrothaBill, this cannot be tolerated when directed at a minor. I would propose that the board be only available to those 18 and older, except for a special Teens only forum where underage children could chat about whatever they wish, but sexual talk, lude talk, and any mention of illicit substances will never be tolerated.

I also posted the age of consent web site, to let people know what the specific laws are in their own areas, or areas that they may travel on EF meetups. You can never be too safe these days with the amount of media coverage the internet, particularly sensationalized stories of theft, attack, rape and even death.

I also think that the majority of people here would protect any minors on the board, much like Brothabill is, that we could be mature enough to treat them with respect for not only them, but ourselves too.

As far as I'm concerned, anyone on here not part of the Iron Angels or vouched for in some reasonable way by an Iron Angel is a guy. We're all adults since the TOS guarantees me that everyone here is an adult. That she was permitted to continue to post after claiming to be a child demonstrates that she was not sufficiently convincing in this claim to be accepted as a child. Accordingly, Lestat had no convincing reason to believe she was other than as he first took her to be: an adult.

Lestat was involved in role-play with another being he reasonably believed to be an adult female. If it turns out that she was a child pretending to be an adult then her legal guardians should be held responsible not Lestat. Her ISP should be taken down too for failing to protect her tender and impressionable mind. Furthermore, I believe that she was obviously already corrupted to be here and in a state of mind to pretend to be an adult and it is doubtful that anyone here had a corrupting influence on her. Any suggestion that her claims to be underage should be taken as truth when such an acceptance would establish her as a liar is moot.
 
All kind of relative though. 14 is legal in some countries, 16 is in mine, 18 is in the US, 21 is in some countries.

This is the internet. I guess it´s a US based site, but still.
 
Hmm, I've just re-read the TOS. There's no mention of any claim or requirement to be an adult. You can post on here with nothing more than Internet access and an ability to type and even the latter seems not to be a universal requirement.

There is one mention, though, that we agree not to post any material which is sexually oriented nor anything abusive or vulgar. I think Lestat is for the chopping block after this clear violation of all that we hold dear. Such a senseless waste.

I think BB has a very good point, and think if it was your daughter or little sister..would you want her having a conversation with some of these guys at all? I think it's best to be safe and not play around with her, not really knowing if she's real or not.

While this is the Internet, its a private chat forum (you need to become a member to access it). We are free to discuss certain topics & people feel more comfortable behind their computers, however this is someone's business. That TOS is BROAD for a reason. Maybe because of what I do for a living, I'm extra sensitive when I hear something like the govt. serving Google a subpoena for their search records, wanting to expand the Patriot Act, etc.

When EF was the most controversial site on the net, we lived in a different era. Things have changed. There are topics you should stay away from, asking an underage girl for pics is definitely one of them.

I'm not sure on that one, I think yeah, they probably should be. Look at the pictures of men and pictures of women forum, there is material in there that would be illegal for someone under 18 to view right?

I think a separate area for underage members might be appropriate, but would people who were over 18 be able to go there as well? If so that could create something that weirdos actully come here to browse. Not good in my opinion, even if they did buy plat and buy tons of stuff from the sponsors.

There is so few minors here and really kids shouldnt be doing steroids anyhow. Just making it to click that they are over 18 to enter would be fine I think. Solve any potential conflicts.
If they say they are under 18, give them the boot
