I just spoke with Dunk over the phone and he cannot log into his account. He asked if it would be possible to activate his account as a non-plat so he can still post on the boards while discussing a possible refund with George. He called the provided EF support number but it went directly to voicemail.

Again, Dunk would sincerely appreciate it if someone can activate his account as non-plat while this gets sorted out so he at least has a way to communicate with admin and the rest of his e-friends.

No assumptions are being made, just stating the facts. Considering Dunk is a vital part of the diverse C&C culture, George should be happy to honor this request.

Needto, regardless of what he said in a one-liner, Dunk's ultimate request was to maintain plat status on a pay-per-month basis. He asked to have a prorated refund before his account was locked. I hope this gets resolved and Dunk remains an EF member in good standing.

All managers take some amount of heat. You are supposed to handle situations maturely, with the customer in mind.

If EliteFitness was Best Buy, and Dunk was trying to return a digital camera that failed to work 3 months down the line, would you KILL the customer in front of all the other people because he's accusing you of selling bad cameras? NO. You make sure people see you handle the situation as every responsible retailer should. Maturely and promptly. It is your PERSONAL obligation to EACH and EVERY individual on this site to make sure we are happy and satisfied with our purchase, even after the sale is complete.

I am not saying you do a poor job. As a matter of fact, you were great in helping me with an account issue a few months back. I understand you must have a lot to handle. I don't think Dunk ever made it to the register with his receip to return the camera and ask for a refund... He just walked into the store and shouted out about how much he wants a refund and also said the store was turning "geih"...

I have handled everything to the best of my abilities. I spoke to Dunk on the phone after he was banned. I would have been more than happy to talk to him before he ever made the thread... The problem is that I didn't know about Dunk wanting a refund, until after I had to read it on the forums....

He was sure able to send me a PM asking me to delete a thread about him... As far as the refund, he couldn't use the same discrete means of communication. Instead he decided to post about it on the forums.

I just don’t see how the same guy PMs me to talk about a thread, and then starts a thread to talk about an issue with billing. Kind of ass-backwards don’t you think?


I spoke to Dunk on the phone, I felt I was being helpful and wanted to issue the refund for him tonight. He wanted me to ask GS about the month-to-month billing… I told him he’ll get an answer from us by tomorrow before closing time.

I think it is generous for a company to offer any sort of refund on a "life time" membership. I made sure that before I bought mine, that it was really what I wanted. If I ever got to the point where I didn't like this place, I'd just leave, not ask to get any money back.

I think it is generous for a company to offer any sort of refund on a "life time" membership. I made sure that before I bought mine, that it was really what I wanted. If I ever got to the point where I didn't like this place, I'd just leave, not ask to get any money back.

BRR, I don't necessarily think it's right to bring up something Dunk wanted you to erase...since you so casually brought up the thing about him and his girl. There are MANY issues we like to keep quiet, quite a few involving some mods and former mods.

His girl might still browse the forum....can you be the better man and edit that out?

And when did this become an issue of how a customer handles a situation? Are manners regarded when issuing a refund? No. Not to mention we are behind a computer screen, where manners aren't weighed as heavily as they are in person.

Dunk could have handled it differently, sure, but he definitely didn't mean to imply that he wanted to leave for good, he just wanted to stop supporting the site financially.

Let’s put this out there. Dunk never really wanted a refund, he doesn't really think this place sucks (16 average post per day). As a matter of fact, he just went thru all of the trouble of creating another username to login into this geih place again. He never wanted to stop supporting the site financially, he just wanted to get under our skin a little. Now Dunk has two roads he can travel… 1- Do the Kakdiesel thing and admit he was just fucking around. 2- Do the sorearms thing and keep acting like there was a real issue behind his post (he knows full well there wasn’t one).

You see where Kakdiesel is… You don’t see where sorearms is… I can tell you that sorearms is in Coventry pending a support phone call with me, so that I can resolve all of his Elite Fitness issues to his satisfaction.(under Spellwin’s orders)

He just thought of the “month-to-month” deal to change up his story after the Spellwinator got at him…

I can see what is going on here. If you are to hold your moderators to some sort of standard, which you obviously are with your recent moves, you too want to hold the members to a standard as well.

You are effectively saying, "don't bash this place, its owner, or its staff publicly, or you will be asked to leave, paying customer or not" would you say that is a fair assumption?
